Meet The Therapist
Christine Davis is a Licensed Counselor and holds a Masters degree from the New York School of Professional Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology. She grew up in Kirkville, New York and received a BS in psychology at the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree at the Syracuse University. She also has developed an interest in eating disorders from her clinical experience in the field, primarily working at the University of Flordia's Center of Hope. Christine completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Flordia. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Eating Disorders Recovery Center of Albuquerque.
Christine Davis has obtained extensive therapy and psychological assessment experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds and has gained clinical experiences She is thrilled to be back in the community and enjoys spending time with her dog, Chumley, and with family, friends, and her husband. She believes in the importance of giving back to the community. She was involved in a Fit Kids program in Syracuse which focused on childhood obesity and has presented on topics related to eating disorders and emotional eating at the University of Florida. She truly values and is passionate about helping people grow and find there true potential. Her vision in the community is "Spread your Wings and Fly." |
